Serial rapist terrorizes Harding Park

HARDING PARK - Members of the Harding Park community say a serial rapist has terrorized their neighborhood since August, reportedly assaulting three women.

Community members say this month alone there have been two more rapes, the latest occurring this past Sunday. The president of the Harding Park Homeowners Association says if two neighborhood teens hadn't jumped in to help rescue the third victim, she might not be alive.

Members of the community say that the simple act of keeping the park?s fences locked from dusk till dawn would prevent future crimes from happening there.

The community will be holding a meeting next Tuesday at Harding Park to try to resolve the issue. The parks department is scheduled to attend.
