Severe weather knocks down tree, power lines on Pitman Avenue in Wakefield

Power has been restored to hundreds of Wakefield residents who were left in the dark during an overnight storm. According to a Con Edison spokesperson,

THE BRONX - Power has been restored to hundreds of Wakefield residents who were left in the dark during an overnight storm.

According to a Con Edison spokesperson, severe weather brought down a tree and power lines on Pitman Avenue.

Officials says that more than 1,500 customers were without electricity at the height of the blackout.
