Sewage water has flooded the outdoor area, sending a stench into many apartments.

THE BRONX - Sewage water is flooding the lawn and walkway surrounding one NYCHA building in the Bronx.

Residents at the Sonia Sotomayor Houses on Rosedale Avenue say the sewage has been pouring out of a pipe from the basement for at least a couple of weeks.

They complain that it's not only making it difficult to walk around the complex, but the stench is also invading a lot of the apartments.

Tenants say that so far they've received no explanation about the problem and when it will be fixed.
