Shooting suspects to stay in jail for holiday

THE BRONX - A Bronx judge has ordered the five suspects in the Home Street shooting that injured 15-year-old Vada Vasquez to remain behind bars for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Vasquez's family says they will spend Thanksgiving by Vada's side in the hospital.

Meanwhile, many Bronx residents attended a National Day of Outrage event at the Bronx County building to grieve their loved ones lost to gun violence. Community members say they will fight to get illegal guns off the streets.

Anti-gun violence rallies were held across the country.
