THE BRONX - One week after nearly a dozen separate shootings claimed two lives, this morning police confirmed five more shootings overnight that claimed two more lives.

The shootings occurred in all different neighborhoods from Sound View to University Heights.

One of the victims was 16-year-old Tashawn Bromfield, of Meridian, Connecticut. Police say he was shot in an apparent drive-by on Fenton Avenue.

Residents of the Bronx say that they fear for their own lives because they think that most of the shootings are gang related.
