Shoppers hit Bronx stores for Black Friday deals

THE BRONX - Shoppers were out early on Black Friday looking for big discounts and doorbusters offered by retailers.

At the Bronx Terminal Market and Bay Plaza, shoppers told News 12 The Bronx they didn't have to deal with any big crowds and didn't have to wait on long lines. Shoppers say they were out to get their holiday shopping done early and to take advantage of sales.

TVs were the hot item at Best Buy, with employees constantly restocking their inventory throughout the morning.

The National Retail Federation estimates that 140 million consumers will shop on Thanksgiving weekend.
