THE BRONX - Police have released sketches of two men wanted in separate rape cases in the Bronx.

According to investigators, one of the wanted men followed a 27-year-old woman off the elevator in her University Heights apartment building back in February.

They say the suspect then pushed her into a stairwell and raped her. It happened along Walton Avenue, but the exact location is not being disclosed in order to protect the victim.

In the second case, the suspect allegedly knocked on the apartment door of a 25-year-old woman on March 24, and told her in Spanish that he was the building superintendent and needed to fix a gas leak. Cops say he stuck a gun to her head and raped her after being let inside.

Both victims were treated at hospitals. Anyone who recognizes the suspects, or has other information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
