BRONX - Residents of the Throgs Neck houses are afraid to walk around their neighborhood at night due to an invasion of skunks.

Many residents claim the skunks are being forced from their habitat due to construction of the Ferry Point Park Golf Course. Other residents claim the animals are looking for food in nearby garbage.

The New York City Housing Authority has yet to address the problem.
