SOUNDVIEW - Temperatures fell Tuesday night, but the borough dodged a snowy bullet.

The streets dried out Tuesday, leaving drivers relatively safe from black ice as light flurries began to fall in the evening.

Traffic appeared to be moving well in Soundview.

Forecasts still show snow overnight.
