THE BRONX - Sparks were flying Thursday night at a community board meeting with FreshDirect in the Bronx.

Residents say they are angry that that Community Board One was denied the chance to ask FreshDirect questions about its plans to relocate to the Harlem River Yards.

A member of the board told News 12 that at one point during the meeting, an exchange between FreshDirect's district manager and the board got so ugly, that peace officers were asked to turn off the lights.

The meeting was adjourned without any resolution.
