Special election set for ex-Rep. Weiner's seat

ALBANY - (AP) - Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-N.Y.) has set specialelections for former Rep. Anthony Weiner's (D-N.Y.) congressional seat andsix vacant seats in the state Assembly for Sept. 13, coincidingwith statewide primaries. The 9th Congressional District includes parts of Brooklyn andQueens. The Assembly seats are in Oneida County, Erie County, Brooklyn,Manhattan and two in Queens.
