Speeding cop car smashes into young man

A man recovering from being hit by a subway train two years ago was struck by a speeding cop car on Davidson Avenue and West

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS - A man recovering from being hit by a subway train two years ago was struck by a speeding cop car on Davidson Avenue and West Fordham Road midnight Friday.

Jason DeJesus was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital after suffering from head trauma caused by the car accident. Just two years ago DeJesus woke from a three-week coma, a result from being run over by a train.

The NYPD says the officers were responding to shots fired on 225th Street and Broadway.
