THE BRONX - As Spring begins, many residents are once again coming face-to-face with allergies caused by fresh grass and pollen.

One resident says he has been visiting St. Barnabas hospital for weeks to get booster shots that will allow him to build an immunity to many allergens.

A doctor at St. Barnabas says it is important to get tested, just to be on the safe side. The doctor says once you know what you're allergic to, it is easier to treat the symptoms and build up immunities.
