NEW YORK - The possibility of snow this spring has had many people on edge, but it looks like the city will be spared any significant winter weather.

According to News 12 meteorologists, there will be flurries late Tuesday afternoon, leading into a 12-hour period where snow is in the vicinity, but stays mostly to the east.

Forecasters expect a dusting at worst by Wednesday morning.

The temperatures will be cold and make it feel like it’s still winter for another couple of days. The spring warm-up happens Thursday, and is expected to stay.
