THE BRONX - St. Barnabas Hospital is expanding its pediatric emergency department to offer around-the-clock care.

The hospital is initiating a "no waiting room" policy during overnight hours. This allows children to be immediately seen by a medical professional.

The hospital also has a newly designed pediatric inpatient unit and a phone hotline for parents to call for updated treatment information.
