State Parks Department holds public forum on Roberto Clemente State Park improvements

The state Parks Department is holding two public forums today to help get input on improvements needed at Roberto Clemente State Park. (6/19/14)

THE BRONX - The state Parks Department held two public forums Thursday to get input on improvements needed at Roberto Clemente State Park.

Earlier this month, the state allocated up to $46.5 million to improve the 25-acre park, located in Morris Heights.  

Part of the money will be used to replace a failing seawall at the park.

Both meetings were held at the gym inside the park on West Tremont Avenue.
