State seeks 6 wanted fugitives with Bronx ties

THE BRONX - Officials want the public's help to catch six of the state's most wanted fugitives with ties to the Bronx.

Derrick Witter is wanted in the July 2004 slaying of a father of two on Davidson Avenue. Noel Kelly is on the loose and is wanted in the 2004 murder of Andre Williams.

Gregory Andrews, Vincent Ruiz and Haddon Miller are wanted for first-degree rape.

Marco Ivezic has eluded police for 10 years and is wanted for allegedly holding his family hostage and kidnapping his children.

Officials urge residents to avoid the men if they see them, but to call 911.

Then-Gov. George Pataki, inspired by the television show "American's Most Wanted," started the New York State's 100 Most Wanted Fugitives Web site in 2004.
