THE BRONX - Election Day might be over, but control of the state Senate still hangs in the balance.

The results of two close races, one on Long Island and the other in Buffalo, will tip the balance of the 62-member chamber, which is currently in Democratic hands.

The Assembly, the New York State Legislature's other body, is controlled by the Democrats.
