A man is under arrest for allegedly setting three intentional fires in The Bronx. Police say Steve Contreras set fires on Bruckner Blvd. and Williamsbridge

THE BRONX - A man is under arrest for allegedly setting three intentional fires in The Bronx over the past year.

Police say Steve Contreras, 25, admitted verbally and in writing to setting a fire last February at 21-39 Bruckner Blvd. One year later, police say he started another fire there.

Contreras is also accused of setting a fire on Williamsbridge Road, the day before the second fire at Bruckner Boulevard.

Contreras is being charged with arson, reckless endangerment and assault.
