THE BRONX - A Bronx father says he's been reliving the loss of his son since learning that Osama bin Laden was dead.

Jack Lynch says his firefighter son, Michael, responded to the World Trade Center on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001 with the rest of Engine 40. He says he remembers being glued to the television while anxiously waiting to hear from Michael.

Lynch also went to Ground Zero in the aftermath hoping to find his son, who was found buried in the rubble on March 21, 2002. He says his son's body was intermingled with a woman's body and that knowing he died trying to help her is a great consolation to their family.

Now that bin Laden has been killed, Lynch says he has some more comfort, but still believes the terrorist threat lives on without him.
