THE BRONX - A Bronx family gave back to the community today to honor a man they say died too soon.
Alicia Johnson created PJ's Family Way to honor her child, Prince A. Shaheem Johnson, who died at the age of 28 from health complications.
His family says that they want to help others by offering free health screenings and to emphasize the importance of checkups.
PJ's Family Way hosted a street fair today with face painting, games, sports tournaments and health screenings.
The event was held at Turnbull Avenue between White Plains Road and Pugsley Avenue.
