THE BRONX - Though the Department of Education has reported it is making progress in alleviating overcrowding in Bronx schools, some students do not agree.

?Everybody is so cramped together it?s hard to pay attention,? says one fifth-grader.

In about a month, plans will be drafted to determine how much funding will go toward education.

The DOE will release its proposal capital plan on Nov. 3, though the final plan will not be adopted until June.

Educators, parents and advocates say they will keep fighting until the conditions in local schools improve.
