THE BRONX - Talk-show personality Regis Philbin hosted his final television show this morning, and students at his high school alma mater say he serves as an inspiration. Students at Cardinal Hayes High School on the Grand Concourse created a video to commemorate Philbin's longtime career. They say they view him as an example of success, and are grateful for the five scholarships he sponsors each year. "It's bettered my life because I can go to Hayes, which is giving me a better education," says senior Marco Ramirez. "And I'm planning to use this education to go to college." Philbin's name also marks the school's auditorium.Regis Philbin returns to Bronx alma mater for dedication
