THE BRONX - Students of the New York City Summer Quest Program are creating digital tools and new technology.

A total of 15 organizations were involved in a two-day hands-on learning experience. The campaign aims to empower people to see the web as a space for innovation.

The students of the summer camp got to make their own music, and all they needed was paper, markers and an iPad.

The kids got to learn with games, sounds and video. Organizers of the camp say participants really learn key skills.

Leah Gilliam, director of Mozilla Hive NYC, says that each station the kids visit has a different focus - whether it is science, technology, engineering, math, art or design.
