THE BRONX - Classes for some summer school students had to be moved to another location after last week's explosion at John F. Kennedy High School campus.

The New Visions Charter High School for Advanced Math and Science and New Visions Charter High School for Humanities had to be relocated to In-Tech Academy due to the gas explosion. The school is only yards away from the JFK campus.

Parents say there are around 100 9th and 10th-grade students who are in the program, which ends on Aug. 27.

The gas explosion was caused by a worker lighting a match to test a gas valve.

There is no word where the nearly 3,000 students expected to start the school year on Sept. 9 will go.
