Students put Hispanic culture in documentary

THE BRONX - A group of students created a documentary showcasing their diverse backgrounds as part of Hispanic Heritage month.

The six-minute documentary was filmed and edited by an eighth-grade class at M.S. 298. School leaders say the purpose of the documentary is to capture the diverse stories and life experiences of the students.

The students are part of a film class run by teacher Kevin Lopez. The documentary will be shown during the school?s film festival at the end of the year.
