FORDHAM - A new study from the Tri-State Transportation Campaign has named Broadway and East Gun Hill Road the deadliest roads for pedestrians in The Bronx.

The study looked at pedestrian fatalities between 2009 and 2011, and found that both roads had five fatalities each. The study also found that Grand Concourse, Fordham Road and Baychester Avenue were dangerous for pedestrians.

Overall, the pedestrian death toll in The Bronx has steadily increased between 2009 and 2011, with a total of 80 deaths in the three-year span.
