Study: Homelessness on the rise in The Bronx

THE BRONX - Homelessness is on the rise in The Bronx, according to the latest findings from HOPE 2012.

The Department of Homeless Services (DHS) conducted the HOPE count at the end of January and found 169 unsheltered individuals in the borough this year, which is 54 more people than last year.

Outreach programs are available around the clock to help people find shelter throughout the city.
