NEW YORK - Young people who smoke marijuana could be putting themselves at risk for heart disease.

According to a new study published by the Journal of the American Heart Association, researchers found 35 reports of patients who experienced heart complications after smoking weed from 2006 to 2010.

All of the patients were under the age of 50 except for one.

The chief of cardiology at Georgetown University says that while the findings don't show the level of risk, but they do indicate a link between the two.
