Subway riders go pantless
THE BRONX - Straphangers across the city and the world ditched their britches and went for a pantless ride today to mark International No Pants Subway Ride Day.
The day that aims to "celebrate silliness" was started 13 years ago by an improvisational comedy group called Improv Everywhere.
People wore traditional winter garb like coats and hats, but were simply sans pants.

An estimated 4,000 people took part in New York alone.
