Subway riders warned of stabbings on the 4 train

THE BRONX - Police are on the hunt for a woman that they say has stabbed at least two people on the 4 train this month.

Authorities have released a composite sketch of the suspect, who they say slashed a passenger in the face on Sept. 6 as the train approached the East 170th Street station.

One week later, on Sept. 12, the suspect slashed an 18-year-old female passenger as the train approached the Mount Eden Avenue station, according to police.

Cops say the woman is between 17 and 25 years old, is between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs around 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, thick plastic gloves and a green-colored bracelet.

Police are asking anyone with information on either of the attacks to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
