THE BRONX - Bronx resident Rafael Lopez filed a lawsuit against The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals claiming a veterinarian played a role in the animal?s death.

Lopez took his sick Rottweiler, named Bullet, to an ASPCA vet in Manhattan. The vet told him the dog died of cancer, Lopez said.

However, animal investigators told Lopez there were several witnesses who saw the vet choke and kick Bullet. Lopez believes the agency is responsible for his dog?s death.
