THE BRONX - Business owners near Bronx schools say they are experiencing a summer slump now that classes are finished for the season.

Fito Andreou has been a restaurant owner in Westchester Square for more than a decade. He says he usually loses about 30 percent of business over the summer.

"It's a ghost town. The trains are emptier, the streets [have] less traffic, no school buses," Andreou told News 12.
