THROGGS NECK - Hundreds of SUNY maritime cadets are back in the Bronx after spending their summer overseas.

Maritime cadets spend each summer between the end of their freshman year to the beginning of their senior year on a ship to qualify for a coast guard license.

The ship will leave again next May.
