THE BRONX - Surveillance video allegedly shows several cars being smashed into by a Department of Sanitation plow in Castle Hill.

Residents had originally reported that seven parked vehicles were vandalized Tuesday morning along Castle Hill Avenue, but the video from outside a local store appears to show the plow hit the cars as it drives by.

Car owners hope the city will pay for the cost of repairs to their vehicles.

Officials at the Department of Sanitation say they are reviewing the video and will determine what their next step will be.
