THE BRONX - Police are hoping surveillance video will help catch the person responsible for the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old Bronx man over the weekend.

According to investigators, Jordan Jackwette was shot in the head at around 5 a.m. Sunday, right near his home in Baychester. He had been sitting in a car on Ely and Adee avenues with one other person at the time.

Family members say Jackwette had been returning from a party and was looking for parking. He was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center and pronounced dead on arrival.

The person in the car with Jackwette was also shot, but is in stable condition.

Jackwette leaves behind a daughter.
