BRONX - Survey results show three out of four residents would like to see a soccer stadium on River Avenue near Yankee Stadium.

The survey was conducted after a town hall meeting held by a local business improvement district two weeks ago, where more than 400 people attended.

The proposal states that 80 percent of the stadium would be owned by a Shiek overseas who runs soccer teams, while the remainder would be owned by the Yankees.

The survey also asked how people would feel if public money such as tax subsidies were used to build the stadium.

Survey results show one in five people would change their opinion of the soccer stadium if public funds were used.
