THE BRONX - A tree that survived the 9/11 attacks was placed back at the new memorial after being cared for in the Bronx.

The tree was covered with ash and thrown about a half-block during the attacks. But, it managed to survive and was taken care of at the Arthur Ross Nursery in Van Cortlandt Park.
