Suspect in fatal shooting of BX teen in custody

THE BRONX - Police say they have the primary suspect in the fatal shooting of a Bronx teenager last month in custody.

Investigators say Jimmy Delgado shot Londell Byrd Dec. 4 in retaliation for an earlier fight.

Cops say Delgado was found by police in Florida and arrived in New York today.

Delgado is being charged with murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon. Byrd's mother, Joanne Soto, will have the opportunity to speak with Delgado.
