Suspect in traffic agent attack arrested

PARKCHESTER - ? Police have arrested 30-year-old Derrick Jordan after they say he attacked a Bronx traffic agent yesterday morning.

Police say Edgar Saeteros was issuing a ticket for a car that was double-parked at the intersection of Virginia and Newbold avenues when Jordan approached him.

Witnesses say Jordan began yelling and then kicked Saeteros repeatedly, fracturing his skull.

Jordan will be charged with felony assault and if convicted faces up to seven years in prison.
