Suspect sought in shooting of Fordham deli clerk

THE BRONX - Police are searching for the man who shot and wounded the store clerk at a Fordham deli.

According to witnesses, the suspect got into a heated argument with a worker at Taiz Deli Grocery on Valentine Avenue and 194th Street Sunday. They say the man left, returned with a gun and opened fire.

The victim is in stable condition at Saint Barnabas Hospital.
