Suspected money courier sought in NYC bomb plot

NEW YORK - (AP) - A law enforcement official says authorities arelooking for a suspected money courier they say helped finance fromoverseas a Pakistani-American man's Times Square car bomb plot.

The official tells The Associated Press authorities know thename of the suspected courier. The official spoke on condition ofanonymity Thursday because of the sensitivity of the investigationinto the failed bombing near a Broadway theater showing "The LionKing."

Law enforcement officials have said they believe Faisal Shahzad rigged an SUV with a homemade gasoline andpropane bomb and drove it into Times Square on Saturday.

They are looking into the possible financing of the plot byforeign groups.

U.S. officials have detained people in Pakistan, where Shahzadwas earlier this year.

A cousin of Shahzad's father calls Shahzad's arrest "aconspiracy."
