Suspects sought in BX shootings in 48th Precinct and on Morris and Taylor avenues

THE BRONX - Police are looking for suspects in three separate shootings that occurred in the Bronx this week. All of the suspects involved are still on the loose.

Around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night in the 48th Precinct, police say a suspect walked up from behind and shot two men in the chest before fleeing. The two victims are in stable condition at Saint Barnabas Hospital. On Thursday night, police say two men shot a man in the leg on Taylor Avenue and Archer Street.

Finally, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) says a 16-year-old was shot in the upper body on Morris Avenue last night. He was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he's in stable condition.

Anyone with information on any of the shootings is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
