Suspicious device prompts Bronx building evacuation

THE BRONX - A Bronx building was evacuated Thursday morning while police investigated a suspicious device.

Officials say that everyone inside the Children's Aid Society Goodwill on 148th Street was forced out and traffic in the surrounding area was blocked off at around 10 a.m.

According to investigators, everything has since returned to normal and nothing harmful was found.
