Taft H.S. dean accused of sex abuse

THE BRONX - Police say the dean of a Bronx high school is accused of sexually molesting a 14-year-old boy in his office over the weekend.

Authorities arrested 40-year-old Jonathan Huff Tuesday after they received a call from a student who claimed he was sexually assaulted during a Saturday class Sept. 19. A United Federation of Teachers spokesperson says any incident involving possible sexual contact between staff and students must be investigated.

Huff began teaching at Urban Assembly Academy, which is an all boys school within Taft High School, in 2005. He has been charged with forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and sex abuse.
