THE BRONX - The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) reports that a quarter of the nation's population waits until the last two weeks to file their taxes.

Sean Burns, a certified accountant, says his March has been notably busy due to the fiscal cliff scare. He says the IRS reopened two weeks later than it usually does and waited even longer before accepting certain forms.

Burns says that late-filers should add up their deductions before visiting an accountant.

All tax forms must be filed by April 15.
