THE BRONX - The citywide 311 and 911 systems are now accepting photos and videos taken from cell phones and personal computers to help police solve crimes.

Photos of potholes and other quality-of-life issues can also be uploaded through the 311 hotline. City officials are hoping that with the help of the public, these issues will be dealt with by the right city agencies in a short amount of time.

Many agree that this is a great idea for an already safe city. ?A face is worth more than words,? says citizen Ashley Hayward.
