THE BRONX - A teenager was struck by a bullet in Morrisania early Saturday morning.

It happened at around 1:30 a.m. at 595 E. 170th St.

A witness says one gunshot rang out, and that it went through a building window and struck a teen in the arm. The witness estimated that the victim was 14 or 15 years old.

The boy was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital and is expected to be OK.

Neighbors were unsurprised by the incident. They say groups of teenagers in the area often engage in disputes that occasionally lead to violence.
