THE BRONX - A group of local teens were honored today for completing a seven-week training program with the Bronx Zoo.

The Wildlife Conservation Society sponsored an honorary breakfast for the youths to celebrate their achievements working as seasonal employees at the zoo this summer.

The teens were given the opportunity to learn about the facility and how the business operates. Organizers say the training sets up opportunities for future employment with the company.
