Tenants: Building manager delaying security

Tenants at a Bronx apartment building where several Fordham students were attacked a few months ago say the building manager has yet to install security

THE BRONX - Tenants at a Bronx apartment building where several Fordham students were attacked a few months ago say the building manager has yet to install security cameras.

The private, off-campus building at 2505 Lorillard Place has several spots where cameras could easily be installed, tenant Peter Turchan says. At the time of the student attack, the building manager, Pasquale Perretta, said plans to install security cameras were under way.

According to Perretta, the installation delay is because of difficulty selecting a security system. He says the cameras should be up within the next two weeks.
